Established in 1986, Carlisle Brass is a long-standing designer, manufacturer and distributor of architectural ironmongery for commercial and residential buildings. Most of our items are locally made at our factory here in Cape Town; we only import around 20% of our products. Our products are manufactured mainly of die-cast or spin-cast zinc alloy, pressed strip steel or brass, and electroplated in-house to a variety of beautiful finishes (Antique Brass, Antique Pewter, Matte Nickel and more). We have also developed a distressed white finish called “Antique White”, and a durable, applied “Rust” look finish, proving popular with our customers. Three textured, hand-applied but durable finishes, Bronze, Silver and Sandalwood, have also been added to our collection.
Our two most popular ranges of door furnishings are La Collection de Provence, a French-styled range of door hardware combining traditional French elegance with sturdy functionality; and The Sparrow Range offering an appealing look well suited to large, solid wood front doors.
